I’m Kim Zavesky (she/her), a freelance illustrator creating fantasy paper art in Cleveland, Ohio.

My work is whimsical, detailed, and full of colorful textures. I focus on characters and shapes to create fantasy illustrations out of paper. As a passionate traditional artist, I love having my desk covered in paper and holding art in my hands. Every step of my process is done by hand—from sketching and paper selection to cutting and gluing.

I earned my BFA in Illustration from the University of Central Florida in 2016 and spent nine years working with various creative agencies, designing and illustrating for corporate clients and marketing teams. Now, I’ve taken the leap to focus on freelance illustration.

Outside of work, I love playing Dungeons & Dragons and other tabletop games, spending time with my dog Ella, watching anime, and playing indie games.
